Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM in TBD.
A hands-on tutorial in Primavera Project Planner (P3) will be scheduled according to computer laboratory availability,see schedule below.
Each student must participate in at least one field trip and write a field trip report. This report is due one week after the field trip took place and will be peer-reviewed. Field trips will be scheduled outside of class time on Thursday and Friday in the first week April (schedule permitting).

Principles of economics, decision making, and law applied to company and project management. Business ownership, liability and insurance, cash flow analysis, and financial management. Project life-cycle, design-construction interface, contracts, estimating, scheduling, cost control.

E&PM INDUSTRY SPEAKER SEMINAR:
The Engineering and Project Management Program offers a weekly Construction Engineering and Management Seminar where industry speakers talk about current practices and innovations in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry.
The seminar is held on Wednesdays from 12 to 1 PM and is open to all U.C. Berkeley students, faculty, and staff; it is not open to the general public. For a schedule of speakers, see

ASSIGNMENTS, EXAMS, AND GRADING:
Assignments are due at the start of class on the set due date. You are expected to develop your own solution even if you discussed the problems with other students. There will be two in-class quizzes (as posted in the schedule below) and a final exam. Grades will be assigned based on the following breakdown:
