Finally, we get to the fun stuff. These are the specific requirements for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Much of the information here is also in Appendix I of the College's Announcement. In the Announcement, you will see several tables listing courses to take for particular emphasis. However, you do not have to follow any of these tables. All you must satisfy is the General Civil and Environmental Engineering Program, which is also presented below.

In Appendix I of the Announcement, you will see several suggested lists of classes for the various emphases in CEE. You do not have to follow any of these suggestions!. As long as you meet the general requirements summarized in the pervious table, you can get your degree. The department is split up into these different emphases for graduate degrees, for which you must take a different set of classes for each emphasis. But for the BS, there is only one degree in CEE, and you do not have to follow the emphasis suggestions. However, if you are really interested in one of the emphases, it is to your best interest to follow the suggested classes.

Time to move along again.
