In Spring 2016, the inaugural semester of the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation, CEE Professor Hassan Astaneh [L] and Architecture Professor Gary Black [R] co-taught a new course, CEE190+ARCH159: Innovative Sustainable Residential Design. |
The course was published in The Technology Interface International Journal, and titled, New Capstone Design Course Combining Architectural and Engineering Aspects of Building Design.
The College of Engineering at Tongji University in China has expressed interest in having the course taught there.
