The Structural Engineering Association of Northern California (SEAONC) honored Professor Steve Mahin, former Director of the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center, with the Helmut Krawinkler Award.
The Krawinkler Award recognizes outstanding leadership in implementing state-of-the-art research into practice. The award acknowledges those individual members (academia or practicing engineers) who have applied and adapted pioneering academic research to the structural engineering practice.
