On April 5, Professor Robert Bea was presented with a Certificate of Recognition from the US Senate "in honor and appreciation for all of the help he has provided to the people of Louisana during disasters resulting from hurricanes, the Gulf Coast Oil Spill, and the Oil Moratorium.
