Caroline Vaughan Wins Construction Management Scholarship

Featured Faculty: C. William Ibbs

Caroline Vaughan, E&PM master's degree student, received the Francis M. Keville Memorial Scholarship for female or minority students in the construction management field. The award is $3000 and is awarded to 4-5 applicants nationally.  Her advisor is CEE Professor William Ibbs.

Upon graduation in spring 2012, Caroline would like to work for a commercial contractor as a project engineer. She was drawn to construction management because it involves having technical,  organizational, and communication skills, and she gets to see from the ground up how our built environment is made. She is fascinated at how much coordination and organization is required to orchestrate even a relatively simple project.

Congratulations and good luck, Caroline!
