CEE Professor Anil Chopra was among 20 individuals named by the journal, Dam Engineering, for having made the biggest difference to the dam engineering sector over the last 10 years. A list was compiled using nominations from contacts and readers from around the world and was decided upon by the International Water Power and Dam Construction (IWP&DC) editorial team and industry experts.
Professor Chopra has also been recognized by the Structural Engineers Association of Northern California (SEAONC) when he received the designation of SEAONC Honorary Member. An honorary member is selected by the SEAONC Board of Directors in special recognition of an individual's contribution to the excellence of the structural engineering profession.
