David Jenkins Delivers Distinguished Lecture at Yale

Professor David Jenkins, Lawrence E. Peirano Chair Emeritus of Civil and Environmental Engineering, delivered the John McClanahan Henske Distinguished Lecture in Chemical Engineering, at Yale University. 

His lecture was titled, "Better Living Through Chemistry."

In the talk he presented a series of examples of how knowledge of basic chemical principles can be used to solve a variety of environmental problems. The examples were drawn from professional assignments that he undertook over the past 50 years, and covered a wide range of environmental media including water, wastewater, and air.
