Julia Morgan Engineering a Legacy [video]

A presentation by Dr. Karen McNeill on Julia Morgan and the influence of her civil engineering education on her career as an architect.

Julia Morgan, American architect, and first woman architect licensed in California, was a graduate of Berkeley's Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. She graduated in 1894, the only woman in her engineering class.

Dr. McNeill, a Julia Morgan scholar and historian, gave this lecture at the banquet celebrating the induction of the Class of 2013 members into the CEE Academy of Distinguished Alumni.
