Come to an info session on CE 198: Certificate in Professional Development ll on Wed, Oct. 8, 6-7pm in 406 Davis Hall.
Special guests will be David Friedman (Forell/Elsesser) and Christopher Hunt (Geosyntec), industry co-organizers of CE 198.
CE 198 includes communication and résumé workshops, including a comprehensive résumé critique session that past participants have found helpful when attending the CEE Spring Career Fair.
CE 198 enrollees will have the chance to visit local engineering firms on a 1 or 2-day externship. Students will get a snapshot of what a typical day for a civil and environmental engineer looks like and will meet one-on-one with many different levels of engineers, from recently hired to senior management.
This course fulfills one of the requirements for the Certificate in Professional Development.
