Berkeley ASCE Chapter is the Best in the West!

The Berkeley chapter of ASCE has been voted the best student chapter west of the Rockies for 2004 by the ASCE Committee on Student Activities. Cal's group placed first over 55 other chapters in the west--including the long-time regional winner at Brigham Young University--and was given the ASCE Zone IV Vice President's Award. The Berkeley chapter was one of three finalists this year for the Robert Ridgway Award for best student chapter nationwide. The winners were rated on their participation in a variety of activities, from community service projects to professional meetings to social activities. Congratulations!
