CEE Career Fair is a Big Success

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Career Fair, co-sponsored by the CEE department, ASCE, AGC, and the UC Berkeley Career Center, was held on November 18 in Bechtel Engineering Center. Thirty-nine architecture, engineering, and construction firms as well as industry consultants and owner organizations were represented at the fair and over two hundred and fifty students came to explore and discuss career opportunities. Many company representatives were Cal Alums. They enjoyed the opportunity to visit their alma mater and talk with a new generation of students about the exciting and diverse career opportunities available to civil and environmental engineering graduates today.

Job-seeking students exchanged information with such employers as Arup, CH2M Hill, Rudolph and Sletten, Inc. and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. A complete list of the companies attending the fair can be found at the UC Berkeley Career Center website.
