| Graduate student Kate Huckelbridge of the Environmental
Engineering Program has won the award for the Best Student
Oral Presentation at the 2004 Annual Society
of Wetland Scientists (SWS) meeting. Huckelbridge, a student
of Professor
John Dracup, gave a presentation entitled "An Integrated
Model for Evaluating the Hydrology, Hydrodynamics, Water Quality
and Ecology of a Wetland in the Colorado River Delta" at
the SWS meeting in Seattle in July. In addition to receiving
a cash award, Huckelbridge will have her name included in an
upcoming issue of the SWS bulletin and announced at the 2005
meeting in Charleston. Congratulations, Kate! |
