Environmental Engineering Student Wins Award for Best Wetlands Presentation

Graduate student Kate Huckelbridge of the Environmental Engineering Program has won the award for the Best Student Oral Presentation at the 2004 Annual Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS) meeting. Huckelbridge, a student of Professor John Dracup, gave a presentation entitled "An Integrated Model for Evaluating the Hydrology, Hydrodynamics, Water Quality and Ecology of a Wetland in the Colorado River Delta" at the SWS meeting in Seattle in July. In addition to receiving a cash award, Huckelbridge will have her name included in an upcoming issue of the SWS bulletin and announced at the 2005 meeting in Charleston.
