CEE Student Gains Fame as a Pop Singer

CEE student William Hung has become a local celebrity ever since his appearance on the television show, "American Idol" on January 27th. Hung, who has been nicknamed the "Hong Kong Ricky Martin," has been pursuing his pop singing when he is not studying to become an engineer. On the TV show, Hung performed Martin's "She Bangs" with his own unique moves, and he has been receiving fan mail and media attention ever since. There is even a William Hung fan website. Hung recently sang at an open mike at the Clark Kerr dormitories to a crowd of over 400 Cal students, and he has appeared on several television shows. The Department wishes him success!
