Professor Pestana Wins Huber Research Prize

Professor Juan M. Pestana is a recipient of the 2003 Walter L. Huber Civil Engineering Research Prize from ASCE "for physical and numerical modeling of soil with applications to geotechnical, offshore and earthquake engineering." Pestana joined the Civil and Environmental Engineering faculty in 1994, and he teaches several courses in the GeoEngineering program. The award will be presented at the 2003 ASCE Annual Convention in Nashville, Tennessee in November.
