Professor Sobey Receives Award for Outstanding Research Paper

Professor Rodney Sobey has received the Coastal Engineering Journal Award from the Japan Society of Civil of Engineers for "excellent research achievement" for his paper entitled "Analytical Solution of Non-Homogeneous Wave Equation." The paper was published in Volume 44 of the Coastal Engineering Journal. Sobey's solution can be used to assist models that predict water wave motion in a variety of environments.
