U.S. News Ranks Cal's Civil Engineering Undergraduate Program #1 in the Nation

U.S. News and World Report Magazine has released its rankings of America's Best Colleges for 2006 and UC Berkeley's undergraduate Civil Engineering program is ranked #1 in the nation for schools whose highest degree is a doctorate.

The annual rankings are based on a number of indicators of academic excellence, including peer assessment, retention and graduation of students, and faculty resources.
