Professor Robert Bea Receives ASCE OTC Hall of Fame Award

Professor Robert Bea's paper, "Movement and Forces Developed by Wave Induced Slides in Soft Clay," was selected to receive the prestigious ASCE Offshore Technology Conference Hall of Fame Award.

The award is in recognition of his outstanding service in providing the industry with innovation, vision, direction and lasting impact on the design, construction and installation of offshore infrastructure. Even though Professor Bea's paper was presented at an Offshore Technology Conference thirty or more years ago, it still is one of the core texts that inform current practice worldwide.
