CEE's Construction Teams Win at ASC Regional Competition

In February, CEE sent four teams to the annual Associated Schools of Construction Regional Competition in Sparks, Nevada.

The competition involved creating construction management solutions for real life problems. Companies submit sample problems in the morning, and teams come up with their proposal to solve the problem by the end of the day. On the following day, the teams present their solution to a panel of industry judges.

This is the third year that CEE has competed in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) competition, and it is the first time that CEE has competed in the Determining Project Risk, Design-Build, and Graduate Team divisions.

CEE won second place in the Determining Project Risk and Graduate Team divisions. Mike Liu of the Graduate Team won best presenter in his category.
