Professors Dracup and Taylor Turned 75 on July 14

John Dracup and Robert Taylor, two of CEE's Professors of the Graduate School, turned 75 on the same day, July 14.

Professor Dracup teaches courses in the Environmental Engineering program, specifically in hydroclimatology, surface water hydrology and the environmental economics of water resource systems. He received his Ph.D. from CEE at Berkeley in 1966.

Professor Taylor is a member of the Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Materials program. His research area is the mechanics of solids, computational mechanics, finite element methods, and finite element software. He received his BS, MS and PhD from CEE at Berkeley in 1956, 1958 and 1963 respectively.
