CEE Alumnus, Uri Eliahu, Named ASCE's Civil Engineer of the Year
Uri Eliahu (CEE B.S. '81) received the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) award for Civil Engineer of the Year in the Private Sector. The award recognizes the professional achievements, leadership, and exceptional dedication of civil engineers working in the private sector.
Mr. Eliahu is the President of ENGEO Inc., a firm of geotechnical and civil engineers that serves public and private clients in the U.S. and abroad. Projects include those in transportation, infrastructure, water resources, geologic hazards, energy, and more. Mr. Eliahu was recognized for his leadership in devising innovative engineering solutions and his integration of an inverted pyramid model of leadership at ENGEO.
