Professor Ashok Gadgil Appointed to the Rudd Family Foundation Chair

Professor Ashok Gadgil has been appointed to the Andrew and Virginia Rudd Family Foundation Endowed Chair in Safe Water and Sanitation, for a five year term, effective July 1, 2009.

The Andrew and Virginia Rudd Family Foundation recently endowed the first Distinguished Chair in Safe Water and Sanitation in order to significantly expand the research being done in this important area.
