2006 Mid-Pacific Regional Conference Results

UC Berkeley's Steel Bridge and Concrete Canoe Teams will both advance to their national competitions as a result of the 2006 Mid-Pacific Regional Conference, hosted by Berkeley's American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Student Chapter on April 28-30, 2006.

UC Davis took first and UC Berkeley took second in the Steel Bridge Team Competition. The top two finishers will travel to compete at the 15th Annual ASCE/AISC Student Steel Bridge Competition, to be held at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, on May 26-27, 2006.

In the Concrete Canoe Team Competition, UC Berkeley took first and the University of Nevada, Reno took second, and both teams will advance to the 2006 ASCE National Concrete Canoe Competition to be held at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, on June 15-17, 2006.
