The information in these pages provides details on graduate study
programs in Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Materials (SEMM)
in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The subprogram
in Structural Materials
has somewhat different requirements. SEMM also offers a Joint
Masters degree program with the Department of Architecture.
Each graduate student will find it helpful to consult the General
Catalog and the Announcement of the College
of Engineering. These publications, in general, state the minimum
requirements for each degree offered by the University, and additional
requirements appropriate to various fields of study.
