Areas of Emphasis

Students with specific interests within Civil Engineering may choose to emphasize in one of the areas listed below by selecting recommended options for their elective core courses, technical electives, and capstone design project. Note, however, that selection of an emphasis is not required. Students can graduate with a general civil engineering program of study that includes technical electives drawn from many or all of the areas listed below.
