Scholarships

You can apply for one of several CEE undergraduate scholarships. The call for scholarship applications is made during the fall semester.

Beaver Heavy Construction Scholarship

This scholarship supports upperclass CEE undergraduate majors who plan a professional career in the heavy construction industry. This scholarship was established in 1990 with a gift from the Beavers Charitable Trust, an organization of companies and people who build dams or are involved in heavy engineering construction in the west.

Berkel Scholarship

This scholarship supports students with an interest in the deep foundation industry and who have demonstrated financial need. The Berkel Scholarship was established by the Deep Foundation Institute Education Trust.

Chevron Scholarship

In 2008-09, a total of $7,500 was awarded to five CE majors who were focused in environmental engineering.

Environmental Engineering Scholarship

This scholarship supports a student who demonstrates a focus in environmental engineering.

John C. Shimmick Scholarship

The Shimmick Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students who have a construction or project management emphasis. The scholarship was established in honor of John C. Shimmick (BSCE '59). 

Ulchi and Yoshiko Sunada Scholarship

This scholarship supports a student who has demonstrated a strong commitment in the UCB chapter of ASCE, Chi Epsilon, or other engineering student organization.
