Professsor Fenves is in the Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Materials program of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is a faculty member in the Civil Systems program. He is also a participant in the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center (PEER) and the Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society (CITRIS). Teaching and research interests include structural analysis, structural dynamics, earthquake engineering, and computer-aided engineering. Professor Fenves leads the development of OpenSees, the Open System for Earthquake Engineering Simulation. |
