FEDEAS is a structural element library for the linear and nonlinear, static and dynamic analysis of buildings and bridges that works under the general purpose finite element analysis program FEAP developed by Professor Robert L. Taylor.

FEDEAS consists of three libraries:

bulleta library of uniaxial, biaxial and triaxial constitutive relations for the monotonic and hysteretic behavior of building materials
bulleta library of linear and nonlinear structural elements
bulleta library of utilities for custom input and output specification

FEDEAS manuals require Acrobat Reader. You can download it for free  from Adobe's web site.

Since early 2000, this library is also available in OpenSees either in native C++ format or in the original Fortran with FEAP wrapper functions. Most library features are also available in FEDEASLab. Developments since 2000, like nonlinear geometry capabilities, an element with moderate deformations for P-d analysis, and an element with shear deformations have taken place under these platforms. There are no plans to continue development of the original FEDEAS library at this stage.
