I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. I have a B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT - Bombay), and a masters in Transportation Engineering from UC Berkeley. I am working with Prof. Mark Hansen, and my research is primarily focussed on Aviation Operations Research, as a part of NEXTOR, UC Berkeley. My research interests include optimization in airline operations (fleet assignment, crew scheduling etc.) and microeconomic analysis of airline competition. When not going nuts with research, I enjoy playing squash, reading (somewhere on this website, there is a list of some books that I find hard to forget), biking and hiking.
