Chi Epsilon mission statement is: To foster and promote the ideals of the Civil Engineering profession through the support of local and regional Chi Epsilon Student Chapters and to demonstrate the practice of the 4 Pillars of Chi Epsilon - Scholarship, Character, Practicality, and Sociability.

For Chi Epsilon Alumni, there is a 5th Pillar, which embellishes the basic principal of providing guidance and advise to the student chapters.

The 5th Pillar:

• "It is not necessary to hold up the structure; however, with it, the structure becomes that much stronger..."

Alumni Association Activity Goals

• To promote and organize the sharing of ideas and knowledge of the Civil Engineering profession.


• To sponsor educational seminars and to provide an educational forum.


• To discouraging unethical and detrimental practices.


• To sponsor social events and to maintain a list of all university Chi Epsilon alumni in order to cultivate fellowship among Chi Epsilon alumni.


• To provide guidance and serve as liaison between university chapters of Chi Epsilon and the academic, public, and private sector.
