Professor Lisa Alvarez-Cohen met with Tongji University President Zhong Zhihua regarding strengthening cooperation between Berkeley and Tongji.
They discussed the two universities co-creating curricula, international joint laboratories and research endeavors, the joint education of environmental engineering doctoral students, and the joint authorship of published research papers.
After the meeting, Alvarez-Cohen traveled to Beijing to participate in the 2017 Spring Symposium of Foreign Experts.
