Alan Maida Receives NSF S-STEM Scholarship for Transfer Students attending Grad School

CEE undergraduate Alan Maida has been invited to join the inaugural class of the Transfer Student Pathways to Graduate School program. This is a new program in Berkeley Engineering to better prepare transfers students for graduate school.

Invitation to the program provides Alan with a $4K scholarship for Spring 2019 for use towards any education-related costs. He will also receive individualized graduate school planning, access to academic and professional development activities, and individual meetings with a faculty mentor.

The Transfer Student Pathways to Graduate School program is made possible by the National Science Foundation’s S-STEM (Scholarships – Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) program.
