Berkeley Engineering welcomed its first speaker of the semester in its View from the Top series, Ashraf Habibullah (CE MS '70), founder, president, and CEO of Computers and Structures Inc., a global leader in the development of software tools for structural and earthquake engineering.
In his talk, "Empowering the Next Generation of Engineers," Ashraf shared his view of the future of the engineering profession and discussed how engineering education and the role of engineers must adapt if the profession is to triumph and flourish in these rapidly changing times of disruptive technologies.
