Connie Chen Receives The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship

PhD student Connie Chen received the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship (GRF) for her research proposal on quantifying the seismic resilience of modern tall buildings. Her adviser is Professor Jack Moehle.


The NSF GRFP is the country’s oldest fellowship program that directly supports graduate students in various STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields. "The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based Master's and doctoral degrees."
