Professor Alexandre Bayen's Mobile Millennium project will be part of a partnership between UC Berkeley and IBM that focuses on predictive traffic and traffic modeling.
Alex leads a team of researchers at the IBM Almaden Center and the California Center for Innovative Transportation (CCIT) on a project in which smartphone data will be used for traffic predictions. This work is an outgrowth of the Mobile Millennium project.
