Chancellor Birgeneau has approved the appointment of Professor David Sedlak to the Malozemoff Endowed Chair in Mineral Engineering, in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, for a five-year term, effective July 1, 2013-June 30, 2018.
This is a very well deserved honor, and a recognition of Sedlak's distinguished record of scholarship.
Professor Sedlak teaches in CEE's Environmental Engineering program, and is Co-director of Berkeley Water Center, and Director of Institute for Environmental Science and Engineering (IESE).
