Professor Samer Madanat, project principal investigator, and Professor Mark Hansen, co-author, participated in the first academic review of the California High-Speed Rail Authority's ridership forecasts. The review was commissioned by the California State Senate Transportation and Housing Committee and was funded by the rail authority.
