Two alumni selected to give NAE Gilbreth Lectures and named as top 10 Tech Leaders under 40

Branko Kerkez (CE PhD '12) and Dan Work (CE PhD '10) were selected as NAE Gilbreth Lecturers this year. Both will make presentations on their research at NAE's annual meeting.

The Gilbreth Lectures were established to recognize outstanding young American engineers.

Kerkez and Work were also named to Connected World magazine's Pioneers 2018 list of 10 technology leaders under 40—helping to pave the way for a more connected society.

Kerkez is currently an assistant professor at the University of Michigan. His faculty adviser was Professor Steven Glaser. 

Work is an associate professor at Vanderbilt University. His faculty adviser was Professor Alex Bayen.
