Berkeley CEE's competition teams had a strong showing in the 2024 MidPac ASCE Student Symposium co-hosted this year by CSU Sacramento and University of the Pacific from April 4 to April 6. MidPac is an annual student symposium where students from more than 16 universities participate in various civil engineering competitions addressing challenges in the field. These competitions showcase their skills and achievements by designing, building, and/or competition in competitions such as Concrete Canoe, Student Steel Bridge, Surveying, Sustainable Solutions, Innovation, and many other regional competitions.

We're incredibly proud of our students for their presentations on building a structurally durable and sustainable building and creating a water filtration system to address wastewater issues. See below for the Berkeley CEE competition team results!

Steel Bridge: 2nd place
Environmental : 1st place
Sustainable Solutions: 1st place
