East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) invites candidates who have appropriate qualifications to apply for this intern position (part-time - 19 hours per week, when school is in session OR temporary full time - 40 hours per week for up to 6 months on school breaks) in the Geotechnical Engineering Section, Engineering Services Division of the Engineering and Construction Department. The Geotechnical Engineering Section provides geotechnical engineering services for EBMUD projects. In addition, the section monitors and maintains the safety of 25 EBMUD dams through review and analysis of data regularly collected from numerous instruments at the dams.
