William Webster Honored with Named Fellowship

Featured Faculty: William C. Webster

Professor Emeritus William C. Webster, who taught in CEE's environmental engineering program, has had a fellowship established in his honor by two of his former PhD students.

Erik Tiemroth and Jonathan Shields, and their wives Kirsi Tiemroth and Pamela Shields, contributed a total of $500K to establish the William C. Webster Graduate Fellowship in honor of their mentor, William Webster.

The fellowship is designated for an entering graduate student in the College of Engineering who has demonstrated a high level of academic distinction and a goal of obtaining a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, or Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.
