CEE's Concrete Canoe silenced the skeptics at this year's MidPac Competition with its revolutionary geopolymer canoe, Bearea 51.
Placing 2nd overall, Berkeley qualifies for Nationals for the first time since 2012.
The team clinched 1st place in both Final Product and the Presentation, and 3rd place in Paddling and the Design Paper.
Overall, the team placed 2nd behind the University of Nevada, Reno, the 2014 National Champion.
